Just another day, it seemed to me

*******
Today I woke up with nothing renewed, except the fact that it is another day and I have to start the day with a cool splash on my face. Someone told me last night, in the middle of a fight -- well, a very heated discussion, really -- that he had spoiled me too much that I got used to being served with everything I want right in front of me. Pronto is what I believe they call it in Italy (?); and I adamantly disagreed -- verbally, that is. Deep inside, I think he did and it's like I don't really work hard on anything anymore.

Well, who knows, I've turned into a freelance freelance! Freelance of the freelance? Freest freelance? Oh, no, don't get me wrong. I'm not in between jobs. I'm presently in the depths of a very demanding work in designing the visual aspects of a website -- which is no sweat really. But what makes it so truly turning into 'real work' -- that which one doesn't really enjoy anymore -- is the fact that the client is so demanding of my creative juices that I feel so sucked up everytime I have to show my outputs and all I would only get is: "is there anything else?" compliment. If you can even call it that.

Oh what a tangled web we weave?

And guess what?! That client is that one who spoiled me too much! And the most exciting part is what I heard this morning. He finally offered to get me that internet cafē biz I've been praying for so long! He had scouted for the location and everything and just waited for me to say yes! And Yes! I grabbed it, naturally!

In about three week's time, after all the prep the place needs, the two-storey surfers' haven will start rolling. We'll start off with 10 computer units in the meantime and build up from there. I might also add real coffee or hot choco with cookies and rolls. And, of course, the usual standard extension services as photocopy, imaging, printing. And, yeah, the freelance stuffs I do. Amazing designs in whatever form!

I don't know about you but I have to start thinking of the decors and furniture that need to be placed in there, so 'got to go.

Now, Surfers' Haven, does that sound cool?
